FROM “SOMEDAY” TO A PLAN

A little clarity goes a long way.

A clear scope gives both sides a better place to begin.

01

Prepare the project.

Homeowners describe the work, add private photos and choose their general area and timing. You don’t need every answer to get started.

02

Choose the introduction.

Review contractor profiles and invite the people who fit. Project and contact details are shared only with the contractors you select.

03

Review the work together.

Invited contractors review the scope, discuss a consultation and submit written proposals. Homeowners compare proposals and choose their next step.

FEWER UNKNOWNS. BETTER CONVERSATIONS.

Know a little more
before you say hello.

Your project details stay together, so a good conversation can start with the work.

Guidance is a starting point.

ScopeRange can provide market guidance when supported project measurements are available. It’s an early guide, not a contractor quote or a promise.

You choose who gets closer.

Start with a general area. Confirm who can receive your contact details before inviting contractors.

An introduction comes before a commitment.

Review experience and submitted details. An invitation doesn’t guarantee a response, a quote or a hire.

FOR THE PEOPLE WHO DO THE WORK

Good work,
close to home.

Build a profile that shows what you do well. When a homeowner invites you, review the private scope and coordinate a consultation before sending a written proposal.

Local introductions. Clear details. Your decision.

Founding contractor access

Free for homeowners. Predictable access pricing for contractors.

Homeowners post for free. Approved contractors and GCs receive 3-month launch access, then pay $40/month for contractor access. No per-lead fees.

BEFORE YOU GET STARTED

A few good questions.

Do I need an account before posting?

You can begin with your project. Continue with your email to securely save and manage your work.

Is ScopeRange a contractor quote?

No. It is market guidance based on project details. A contractor still needs to review the scope, materials, access and site conditions before agreeing on a price.

Who can see my project and contact details?

Guided projects use a city or general area, not a street address. Your private scope, photos and confirmed contact details are available to the contractors you choose to invite.

Are contractor details independently verified?

Profile details are submitted by contractors. Ask about current licenses, insurance and relevant experience before work begins.

Where is ScopeMatch available?

Project basics

Tell us about the work

Start with the trade and general project area. You can refine the details as you go.

Location details Optional

Use your general area for nearby matches. Your exact location stays private.

Add property size Optional

For a stronger project card, add trade, city, budget range, timeline, and at least one accepted project photo.

Your Project Profiles

Discovery Deck

Recommended matches based on your scope, location, and preferences.

Match activity Optional overview

Changes save to your profile and help rank project fit. A minimum budget does not guarantee job value.

Review the highest-fit project first, then open the scope or request a site review.

Refine project feed Public area only, no homeowner street addresses

Filters use the homeowner's public city/area only. Street address stays private until a homeowner chooses a contractor and shares it in messages.

ScopeMatch uses your general area to center maps and sort nearby projects. Exact coordinates stay private.
